BENEFICIARY PARTNERS
The Norton Women's Pavilion Champions 4 Her Walk, Run & Festival was created to improve the health and economic well-being of women and girls in Kentuckiana. Selected beneficiary partners for 2010 focus on: youth mentoring; treatment of severely traumatized children; leadership development for women and girls; prevention of sexual violence and services for its victims; artistic expression for underprivileged girls; the needs of single mothers and their children; and education and competitive athletics for college-aged women. No funds will be distributed to organizations whose primary focus is religion, politics, or reproductive choice.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest, and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. Last year the agency served almost 1900 children throughout the Metro Louisville area. Family Scholar House provides housing for single mothers experiencing homelessness and supports them while they obtain a baccalaureate degree, thereby enabling them to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for themselves and their children. Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana provides a leadership development program for girls age 5-17.
